Clare has always collaborated closely with other artists throughout her career. She is currently working with baritone Paul Sheehan and pianist Stephen Dickinson on a sequence of programmes showcasing the popular songs of Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter and Noel Coward. Commissioned by Thaxted Festival, the first two shows have gone on to perform around the UK including at Cowbridge, Mayfield and Lichfield Festivals and the Noel Coward show – Let’s Do It – will premiere at the 2025 Thaxted Festival.
In 2013, Clare formed McCaldin Arts to bring together artists to collaborate on performances of vocal music. Clare invited composers, stage directors and artists of other disciplines (including dancers, designers and video artists) to work together on original, versatile works for both the concert and theatre stage.
